DAVANT is an Insulation and plumbing plastics distributor to the independent merchant trade.

In 2019 DAVANT celebrated 30 years and remains part of the LINTHWAITE GROUP.

As a leading UK manufacturer of insulation and plumbing plastics, DAVANT takes pride in selling over 5,000 products to independent building and plumbing merchants.

We maintain very strong stock levels of high-quality products which we deliver from our Distribution Centre in Herefordshire.

The beginningsOUR HISTORY

1989

Humble beginnings

In 1989, DAVANT was established, starting with selling pipe insulation. Over time, DAVANT has grown to become a top manufacturer of insulation and plumbing plastics.
2003

New Headquarters

In 2003, DAVANT expanded its operations and continued to grow as a leading manufacturer of insulation and plumbing products, ensuring strong stock levels and excellent customer service.
2013

LMC PLASTICS

In 2013, Davant took a significant step to extend its operations by acquiring Exapol, a manufacturing business originally based in Leominster. Following the acquisition, Davant moved the business to Hereford to streamline operations and leverage synergies between the two entities. This strategic relocation was complemented by rebranding Exapol to LMC, symbolising a fresh start and integration under the Davant umbrella. This expansion not only enhanced Davant's manufacturing capabilities but also reinforced its position in the market as a comprehensive provider of insulation solutions, reflecting its commitment to growth and innovation in the industry.
2019

30th Anniversary

In 2019, DAVANT celebrated its 30th Anniversary. Over the past three decades, we have grown from a small startup into a leading player in insulation and plumbing plastics manufacturing and distribution industry. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our employees and support of our loyal customers. It has been an incredible journey, filled with challenges and opportunities, and we are proud of what we have accomplished.
